Dods & dens

posted feb 20, 2010

Humility is a word rarely heard anymore, and virtually never when a public figure is being discussed. This is not to say that we regular folks don't need a reminder too, at least once in a while. This scaled image of the Marianas Trench should help you see just what big stuff you really are.

If you're a left-leaning, big government admiring, highly educated intellectual, you may not enjoy the various photoshops done of the "Do you miss me yet" Bush billboard at this site. But if you have a sense of humor, you might.

And even those without a sense of humor should appreciate this image of the Democrat party of today. Be sure to hover over the politicians heads to see what they're saying.

If there are any younger readers here today, you may be interested in what CNN says the government is already doing when you have a child. What will they think of next?

If you happen to remember the articles I've recommended in the past about California, you may be interested in this article, showing that California may once again lead the nation.

I laughed out loud. If you look up the phrase "pompous, self-serving rectal aperture", you'll find a picture of Newt Gingrich. Now he has a piece warning about the government looking to take over what's left of our 401Ks. Just because he can tell which direction political winds blow doesn't mean he doesn't.

Finally some of you may remember a few months back that my dad attempted to set me up with his hairdresser. I'd like to say that even though I declined to pursue that particular lady, through my friends at People of Wal-Mart, I have learned that even I still have a chance.
